As you state, you have to be alert for the button for logging in locally - the label is ACCESS ROUTER. The 7500 doesn't have a light to turn amber, just one big friendly blinkenlight. Oct 19, 2012 · Are you trying to log-in via wired or wireless? Here's what you can try to see if your router is still accessible otherwise you have to reset it back to factory defaults. Wire a computer to the router and open the command prompt and check if you can ping 192.168.1.1. If you get 4 good replies then router is fine.
