If so, try connecting using it with a different wireless router or access point (borrow one from a friend or something) and if that doesn't work, then make sure that in the settings it is set to "automatically obtain an IP address" as opposed to having a fixed IP address. That way your PS3 cannot connect via router to the internet, no matter what DNS you have configured. Set your PS3 to obtain the IP address and DNS server addresses automatically via DHCP from the router. You do not need to configure the OpenDNS servers explicitly on any connected devices, whether it be a computer, or PS3, or Wii, or iPhone, etc.
Hi, my PS3 is picking up my wireless Sky broadband but it wont connect. It won't even find its IP address. It was connecting last week then suddenly it lost its connection. It is worth trying a wired connection? I havent tried it yet because it means a lot of messing. Any ideas? Thanks Paul

I'm still able to see the surrounding wireless networks around me but it stays on the "acquiring network address" screen and doesn't connect.
