I have IPv6 on Comcast and it does cause some problems with performance and unpredictability. I do not it and don't want it. For example on an older Mac PowerBook by disabling IPv6 on the network preferences I went from 4 to 5 minutes per web site and search with goggle to almost instant after turning off IPv6 on the Mac.
