There is a cord plugged from the wall to this Netgear box, and the Netgear box is connected to the family computer. The computer connects to the internet just fine. Sep 25, 2017 · OK, I decided to make a new post describing how I setup my ATT-Uverse | Pace 5268AC router/modem (5268AC) after many failed attempts. I tried everything suggested in all the posts I could find (here & elsewhere) and some suggested by others here (thanks again) and nothing seemed to work. Here is what I did and would suggest to you if you have a ATT-Uverse | Pace 5268AC | Software Version 10.5 I was attempting to figure out how to fix my internet connection, and there was an option which said disable, which i thought would temporarily disable my connection and allow me to simply reconnect. i hit that disable button, and all of the wifi disappeared from my laptop. i physically have turned the wifi on and off multiple times, but the internet connections box wont even show a wifi

Those pictures look like the AT&T Uverse modem, but I could be wrong since I don't have that system. This product is a router that you connect to the cable/DSL modem (or other modem device). Don't your entertainment devices already connect to the existing network? Is there any requirement from UVerse to keep the existing network?

Hi thanks you reply my question is hy do I loose the entire Internet Connection? the reason why i am not using the downstairs computer connected to the modem is that computer experiences the same Download U-verse app for Android. My room is far away from the router so I can't directly plug into it, all I have is the one slot on the Uverse dvr box that runs directly to my computer. I was about to buy a steam link (I guess you can compare this to anything that needs a ethernet cable to receive data so it can just stream what my pc sees).
